Building THE CAGE: from Vol. 1 to CAGE 2.0

THE CAGE, presented by WrapUp Eventz at Secret Story, Chennai, was one of the city's most unique nightlife concepts, and Chennai saw it first. AudioWaves designed and built the cage structure and powered the whole venue. Two months later, we did it again, bigger.

Vol. 1: May 2026

The heart of the night was a custom cage structure, designed and built by AudioWaves. Around it we ran the complete technical production for the venue, from start to finish:

• The cage structure itself, designed and built in-house.
• Lasers, strobes and Sharpies for movement and punch.
• LED PARs and lighting design to shape the room.
• Visuals to finish the look.
• Sound for the whole venue.

CAGE 2.0: July 2026

Same team. Bigger setup. Louder statement. CAGE 2.0 was the second volume of CAGE, built by AudioWaves for WrapUp Eventz at Secret Story.

Every version learns from the last one. For 2.0 that meant stunning lasers, premium lighting and an unforgettable centre-stage cage presence: a setup that does not just fill the room, it takes it over.

What a second volume teaches you

A first edition proves the idea. A second edition is where you make it stronger. Knowing the room, the crowd and the structure from Vol. 1 let us push the lighting and the centre-stage presence further in 2.0.
